Know the product
like we built it together.

A tax advisor does not report that “the UX has an issue with information architecture.” They tell you they cannot find the provision they need.

A lawyer does not ask for “better retrieval confidence.” They tell you the answer missed the exception their client’s entire case depends on.

The distance between those two ways of describing a problem is where this role lives. We’re looking for a Product Specialist who can become exceptionally good at understanding azta, understanding the professionals who use it, and translating continuously between the two.

This is not conventional customer support. You’ll be part product expert, part investigator, part trainer, and part voice of the customer inside the product team.

What you’ll own

Close the distance to the product

Product expertise

You’ll become one of the people at azta who knows the product end to end — how professionals actually use:

  • tax and legal research,
  • multi-jurisdiction questions,
  • statute search,
  • source citations,
  • uploaded documents,
  • Canvas,
  • generated documents,
  • knowledge spaces,
  • enterprise configurations,
  • and the workflows that connect them.

The product covers tax and broader business law across 24 European jurisdictions, and in 17 of the 24 the research runs on azta’s structured statute engine.

You do not need to know every law. You need to know how to get a professional to the right workflow.

Onboarding & adoption

A successful deployment is not one where the users received passwords. It is one where azta becomes part of their work.

You’ll:

  • onboard new customers,
  • run live product training,
  • support enterprise pilots,
  • build role-specific workflows,
  • show teams how to use azta on their own matters,
  • spot the users who are struggling to activate,
  • and help customers find the parts of the product relevant to work they already do.

The goal is habit, not a feature tour.

Investigation

When something goes wrong, you should be able to get much further than “I’ll ask Engineering.”

You’ll:

  • reproduce product issues,
  • inspect the context around them,
  • tell a bug apart from a misunderstanding,
  • work out whether the failure sits in the product, the source data, the research behaviour or the configuration,
  • document clear reproduction steps,
  • gather examples,
  • and bring Engineering a problem they can act on.

You do not need to be a software engineer. You should enjoy thinking like one.

Product feedback

Customers often ask for a solution when what we need to understand is the problem. You’ll turn customer conversations into structured insight:

  • What were they trying to achieve?
  • What did they expect azta to do?
  • Where did the workflow break?
  • How often does this happen?
  • Is this one customer’s preference or a broader product problem?
  • What is the smallest change that would materially improve the work?

You’ll work directly with Product on the recurring patterns and on what gets prioritised.

Enterprise support

Professional firms expect something different from self-serve customers. You’ll help support:

  • enterprise onboarding,
  • administrator training,
  • knowledge space setup,
  • firm-specific workflows,
  • internal documentation,
  • user enablement,
  • product demonstrations,
  • and the product side of complex customer conversations.

Enterprise azta searches a firm’s own knowledge beside the law, carries its voice and disclaimers, and runs under its governance — so the system behaves more like the firm’s own co-worker. Your job is to make that useful in practice.

Documentation

If you answer the same question five times, the sixth customer should not have to ask. You’ll help create:

  • help articles,
  • workflow guides,
  • training material,
  • release explanations,
  • customer-facing examples,
  • internal product documentation,
  • and repeatable onboarding content.

Who we’re looking for

Curious enough to find the real problem

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Learn complicated software quickly.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people alike.
  • Are comfortable working with senior professional customers.
  • Ask good follow-up questions.
  • Enjoy reproducing and investigating issues.
  • Can explain complex functionality simply.
  • Notice patterns across many customer conversations.
  • Write clear documentation.
  • Are organised enough that a useful insight does not disappear into Slack.
  • Can operate independently.
  • Care deeply about whether the user actually achieved what they came to do.

It’s a strong plus if you have experience in:

  • product
  • customer success
  • solutions consulting
  • implementation
  • professional services
  • legal technology
  • tax technology
  • accounting
  • law
  • AI products
  • SQL or APIs
  • another European language

Domain experience is valuable. The ability to become excellent at the domain is essential.

How we work

Sit close to both sides

You’ll spend your time with customers and with the people building the product. That is deliberate: we do not want customer knowledge translated through four organisational layers before it reaches an engineer.

When a professional finds something confusing on Tuesday, Product should understand the problem on Wednesday — and when we ship the fix, you should be able to show that customer exactly what changed.

This is a hybrid position with regular in-person collaboration at our Budapest office (13th district, Váci Road): 3 days from the office, 2 days home office per week.

What we offer

Become the person who knows why

  • A product role with daily customer contact.
  • Customer work that visibly moves the roadmap.
  • Exposure to tax, legal and professional-services workflows across Europe.
  • Direct collaboration with Product, Engineering and the founders.
  • Real ownership of onboarding and product adoption.
  • The chance to build the processes rather than inherit a support bureaucracy.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Real equity.
  • Hybrid working with 2 home-office days per week.

You’ll understand not only what customers ask for, but why — and you’ll have a direct line to the people who can change the product.

Apply

Explain something difficult simply.

Send us your CV or LinkedIn and tell us about a complicated product, process or problem you had to understand well enough to explain to someone else. If you can make complexity feel obvious without making it simplistic, we should talk.
