azta increasingly runs inside serious professional organisations. Alongside our shared platform, we operate dedicated enterprise environments with their own domain, database, authentication and configuration — and those are already in production.
That changes what infrastructure means. Deployment repeatability, observability, recovery, access control and security stop being internal engineering concerns and become part of the product our enterprise customers are buying.
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own that layer. Your job is to make increasingly complicated infrastructure feel increasingly uneventful.

What you’ll own
Make the exceptional routine
Enterprise deployments
A dedicated azta environment can have its own domain, its own Supabase project and database, its own authentication configuration, organisation, feature flags, branding and product configuration.
You’ll turn the deployment of those environments into a repeatable system:
- infrastructure provisioning,
- environment templates,
- configuration management,
- domain and certificate setup,
- database lifecycle,
- secret management,
- tenant upgrades,
- deployment automation,
- and safe ways to roll a change across several isolated environments.
A new enterprise deployment should eventually feel like running a well-tested process, not starting a project.
Reliability
You’ll own the systems that tell us something is wrong before the customer does:
- application monitoring,
- logging, metrics and tracing,
- alerting and health checks,
- service visibility,
- capacity monitoring,
- incident response,
- postmortems,
- and reliability work driven by what production actually does.
CI/CD
We ship quickly. Your job is to help us keep doing that without accumulating fear around releases.
You’ll improve:
- build and deployment pipelines,
- automated checks,
- environment promotion,
- migration safety,
- rollback procedures,
- preview environments,
- release visibility,
- and deployment consistency across shared and dedicated environments.
Data & recovery
Professional work can be sensitive and difficult to reconstruct. You’ll establish stronger practice around:
- backups,
- restore testing,
- PostgreSQL operations,
- database migrations,
- disaster recovery,
- retention,
- data movement,
- storage reliability,
- and recovery objectives.
Security infrastructure
azta already has organisation-level isolation, SAML SSO on enterprise deployments, role governance and dedicated single-tenant environments.
You’ll work with Engineering and leadership to harden the operational layer around them:
- least-privilege access,
- production credentials and secrets,
- auditability,
- network controls,
- infrastructure permissions,
- vulnerability management,
- security reviews,
- and the technical work behind our certification and enterprise compliance commitments.
We only make claims we can defend. So part of this role is knowing exactly what our infrastructure does — and what it doesn’t do yet.
Who we’re looking for
You automate the second time
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have substantial DevOps, SRE or platform engineering experience.
- Have operated production infrastructure that real businesses depended on.
- Understand cloud architecture deeply.
- Are strong with containers and deployment automation.
- Have extensive CI/CD experience.
- Use infrastructure as code rather than infrastructure folklore.
- Understand PostgreSQL in production.
- Know observability beyond adding another dashboard.
- Have designed backup and recovery processes — and actually tested them.
- Think naturally in terms of failure modes.
- Are security-conscious without turning every change into a six-week process.
- Can operate independently in a small engineering organisation.
- Automate recurring operational work instead of accepting it as normal.
It’s a strong plus if you know:
- AWS
- Vercel
- Supabase
- Terraform
- PostgreSQL
- SAML and OIDC
- multi-tenant SaaS
- single-tenant enterprise architecture
- Bedrock
- EU-region infrastructure
- ISO 27001 programmes
- incident management in regulated environments
This is a senior role because there will often not be another infrastructure specialist in the room.
How we work
Reliability without bureaucracy
You’ll work directly with the engineers shipping the product. We want infrastructure involved early enough to make the systems better, not introduced at the end as a release gate.
The product moves quickly, so the platform underneath it has to make fast engineering safer rather than slower.
This is a hybrid position with regular in-person collaboration at our Budapest office (13th district, Váci Road): 3 days from the office, 2 days home office per week.
