4. How does cookie acceptance work?
On your first visit, a cookie consent bar appears at the bottom of the page.
The user can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies.
If accepted, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, the OpenAI Ads Pixel and PostHog begin collecting data, and the Calendly demo scheduler can be loaded.
If declined, these services — the OpenAI Ads Pixel included — remain inactive and no tracking cookies are placed. The OpenAI Ads Pixel is not even loaded, so neither the __oppref nor the __obref cookie is created. The Calendly scheduler is not loaded either — unless you explicitly ask us to load it for that visit.
The consent decision is saved in the browser’s localStorage (cookie_consent) and persists across sessions.
Modern browsers allow cookie settings to be changed. Some browsers accept cookies automatically by default, but this setting can also be changed so that the visitor prevents automatic acceptance in the future. Once changed, the browser will offer the choice of cookie settings on each subsequent occasion.
5. Other information
It is important to emphasise that the cookies we use record no passwords, and no name or e-mail address. The consent-gated analytics and advertising cookies listed in section 3.2 — among them the OpenAI Ads Pixel’s __oppref and __obref — do store a pseudonymous click or browser reference, which exists solely to measure advertising and cannot be read as an identity on its own.
Please note that, since the purpose of cookies is to support and facilitate the usability and processes of the website, if cookies are disabled we cannot guarantee that the visitor will be able to make full use of all of the website’s functions. In this case, the website may behave differently than intended in the browser.
You may also delete cookies at any time, which can be done when clearing your browsing history.
Further detailed information about the cookie settings of individual browsers is available on the help pages of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari.
